ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Annual General Meeting of the Pittsburgh Community Benefit Fund will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2018, 7 pm at St John’s Presbyterian Church on Middle Road (cross road Joyceville Road) . Four nominees are in the running for three positions on the Board: Colleen Emmerson, Rhonda Evans (Doyle), George Sutherland and Dr. Alana Todd. If you cannot attend the meeting in person, be sure to drop your proxy form off at the address that is noted on the form. Best of luck to all who are running.
Each individual resident, 18 years and older, residing in the former Pittsburgh Township is automatically a Member of the PCBF. Members in good standing are entitled to attend, participate and vote at the meeting. To be eligible to vote, please bring identification with proof of address to register; the registration booth opens at 6:15 pm.
The purpose of the meeting is to:
1. Receive, consider and approve the financial statement for the past fiscal year, together with the auditors’ report thereon, and all the transactions reflected thereby;
2. Elect Directors;
3. Appoint auditors; and
4. Transact such other business as may properly come before the meeting.
Members who cannot attend the meeting are requested to date, sign and return the proxy form per the instructions on the form.
The Board is looking for enthusiastic and civic-minded people to serve a three-year term on the Board. If you are interested, please complete and return the nomination form per the instructions on the form.
